STAFF HIERARCHY
Founder:
A Founder has the highest level of authority on the server. Their primary responsibilities include setting the overall vision for the server, making key decisions about its direction, and ensuring its long-term success. They oversee all aspects of the server, from development and team coordination to community engagement. The Founder works closely with Admins, Moderators, and other team members to create a thriving and enjoyable environment for all players. They also act as the final decision-maker for issues or disputes that cannot be resolved at other levels.
Sr. Admin
A Sr. Administrator manages several key aspects of our server. This includes but is not limited to event management, handling applications/announcements regarding staff, and delivering feedback to our admins. Senior Admins are the second in power, with enough knowledge and authority to make harder decisions and steer the team into a certain direction, especially when the Founder is absent. ‘Senior’ means that they function as an example for our Admins to follow.
Admin:
Admins are a crucial part of our team, and the main communication between the Founder/Sr Administrators and our staff/event team. Administrators help manage staff, events and the alike, and ensure that our team always knows what to do and how to do it. Administrators are essential in getting the ‘’work done’’, from back-end, organising staff training, organising events, etc.. They do it all!
Sr. Moderator:
Along with the responsibilities of a Moderator, we expect Sr. Moderators to serve as an example for our Moderators and Helpers to follow in terms of conduct, and way of handling issues. Senior Moderators are essential in training new staff members and on-boarding them.
Senior Moderators may also be asked to assist with decision making. This includes our feedback forms, staff and event applications, and issues that require more opinions.
Moderator:
A moderator plays a crucial role in ensuring that the server is a safe and welcoming place for all players. Their primary responsibilities include enforcing the rules of the server, addressing player complaints and concerns.
Moderators have the following responsibilities:
- Punish any player that breaks rules appropriately
- Ensure that Helpers are up-to-date and knowledgeable on the server’s rules.
- Ensure that the server’s atmosphere is good.
Moderators are expected to be impartial and fair in their decision-making, and to follow the guidelines and policies set forth by the Admin team. If they have any questions or concerns, they should reach out to an Admin for guidance and support.
Helper:
Helpers assist the Moderator and Admin team when possible by collecting information and ensuring player-issues are seen, and when appropriate, addressed. They are expected to be the first point of contact and the first responders when a ticket is created.
Helpers are here to answer any questions a player may have and ensure they have a positive experience. They are also expected to help with events, and other community-oriented work.
Promotions:
To advance to a higher rank within the staff team, it is important to demonstrate responsibility, initiative, and a high level of cooperation. We value active team members at every level, as they are essential for the server and community to run effectively. However, it is important to note that not everyone may be suited for higher-level roles, and that is perfectly acceptable.
We expect staff to request a course to become the next rank themselves. Admins will review staff members who have demonstrated exceptional qualities and have shown potential for advancement. If a staff member is not considered suitable for promotion, admins will provide feedback on areas for improvement and what could be done to increase the likelihood of promotion in the future.
